The seaweed Ascophyllum nodosum is known for its high nutrient content. Incidentally, it is also considered a “superfood” by two-legged friends. Dogs, cats and horses hardly get any natural iodine from their food. It is therefore useful to add seaweed meal to compensate for or prevent deficiencies. As an additional feed of 100% natural origin, our seaweed powder can contribute to a healthy iodine balance in horses, dogs and cats. The powder consists of fresh seaweed. They smell really delicious of the sea - your four-legged friend will surely like it too and will gratefully accept the powder.
FOR SKIN, COAT, STOMACH AND INTESTINES
All of your four-legged friend's organs and nervous system need iodine to function properly. It not only regulates metabolic functions - such as those of the thyroid gland - and body temperature, but is also essential for cell growth. As a natural supplier of iodine, our seaweed meal provides your four-legged friend with the important trace element. Seaweed has a digestive effect and can promote gastrointestinal activity. But the power algae is also a beauty expert: minerals and trace elements are used for a silky, dense fur coat and a healthy skin metabolism. Our seaweed flour is also suitable as a little helper for the oral hygiene of horses, dogs and cats. Goodbye tartar! You notice: A powder for all-round well-being!
IDEAL SUPPLEMENT FOR RAW FEEDING
If you feed your dog or cat with the BARF method, the ideal iodine supply is particularly important. Raw-fed cats and dogs normally absorb iodine through the thyroid tissue of their prey. However, since the meat of larger farm animals is usually contained in the BARF rations, the amount of tissue would lead to an iodine oversupply if consumed. A high-quality BARF ration therefore does not contain any thyroid tissue or pharynx. In order to support the trace element balance of your pet as needed, the feed rations should be supplemented with seaweed as a natural source of iodine.
Our seaweed flour consists of 100% natural seaweed, is free of coloring agents and does not contain any additives. The iodine it contains supports the thyroid function and prevents deficiencies. Various amino acids also support protein formation. Valuable minerals and trace elements serve to supply nutrients.
